Did you know that our wonderful maintenance team takes care of 26 miles of sidewalks downtown each day? This even includes shoveling and plowing in the winter, picking up litter, watering the plants and making the sidewalks downtown easy and beautiful to navigate!
Intown Manchester raises money to purchase, plant and maintain flowers throughout the district! We have 25 large flower potters and flower beds around Veterans Park, Victory Park, the Hartnet lot, the Welcome Center and Stanton Plaza to name a few!
Intown is responsible for all of the Christmas decorations in the district! This includes wreaths on every pole, snowflake lights, lights at city hall plaza and 3 large Christmas trees around downtown!
The Intown Manchester Street Banner program has been an enriching & effective beautification program that brings to life our downtown Community. Intown Manchester works with the New Hampshire Institute of Art to produce an artistically designed scheme that celebrates everything Downtown Manchester; commerce, dining, arts and culture, entertainment and more! We have 200 banners through out Elm, Hanover, Granite Street and the Mill yard!
Did you know that Intown Manchester transformed 12 bland public utility boxes in the downtown area by having different local artists paint bright and lively colors on them? Bringing public art to downtown is part of our mission here at Intown Manchester!
Thursday Nights Live at Veteran Park start in June! Downtown Manchester is bustling with live music, great food and even better shopping! We host several live bands to perform at the park each week at no cost for those attending! This is a great way to get out in Downtown Manchester on Thursday nights!
Intown Manchester is a Non-Profit, Business Improvement District. We run off funds raised from events such as Taco Tour, Summerfest, and The Christmas Parade, among others.
